Do you have any other mods (i.e. cbe etc.). Also wondering if you are using the CARB tune. I am in the process of having this kit installed on my G37S 5AT along with the Stillen CBE with custom Uprev tune and am very curious to see how it turns out. If I get 125 hp I will be happy also, especially at altitude here in the Denver area.

Only other mods is Stillen's Cat-Back system, other than that all stock and I'm using Stillen's Version 8 tune, which do not think is CARB certified.

It's Stillen's tune correct? You're still CARB certified and warrantied.

Nice, we have virtually the same setup except for the tune. I got the first verbal results of the dyno tuning today, 385 HP on 7.2 PSI of boost from the 9 PSI pulley. They are still tweaking the AT parameters and want to review the data to make sure the AFR is good across the whole RPM range so I am not sure what the final number will be. I will post a thread with dyno sheets, pictures and a write-up on this site when all is complete.

I ended up at 389 rwhp and to answer the previous question yes this is the Stillen tune.

Nice! It sounds like you are enjoying it based on your earlier posts.

FYI, I posted my review on this site here:

I wouldn't say they abandoned it as I am sure they are watching but the min yet post they have certin people trying to attack ten and twist words said. There are people with success with this kit who gave a full unbiased review and are enjoying there kit

I do love how Stillen attacked the 370 and just made everything for it. It's always nice to have one manufact. on your car worth of stuff, ie, exhaust, intake, supercharger, pulleys, ground effects, etc. Thank you Stillen for going the extra mile, and as always, amazing looking intake mani. I am bitter about it not keeping the seperate dual intakes/TBs, but of course I know this stems from using 1 supercharger, and not twin charging.

Not a fan of the advertising style of listing the crank hp first, or at all, instead of just listing the WHP alone. It's a style choice, and I hope it's not to mislead people, and only give them more information. (I know a lot of people will think the whp seems low since they live in crank hp world when their car is stock and never dyno'd.)

To the latest post whores, stop trolling/thread jacking. Lol. Say something about Stillen constructive or not at all. You realize Stillen has to skim this thread to look for consumer questions/comments, and you are just creating a crap ton of notifications to send to Kyle@Stillen?

Unfortunately, Stillen left themselves open to criticism for not keeping forum members updated on the current status of the resolution for fixing the major issues with their supercharger tune. It seems like the hardware is good and supports a lot of power but part of the appeal with running the Stillen tune is a) warranty and b) CARB compliance. If the supplied tune cannot be made to run properly, what use is the a/b and the good hardware? There are a few that have custom tunes which have yielded great results but that doesn't help those who need CARB certification or want the Stillen warranty on the kit.

Yes, there is some soap opera in here but for those considering the kit or those who own the kit and are having issues, Stillen should have been more attentive in addressing questions and concerns on here and that is what many people have an issue with.

This response is to Fezzik. This is the link to my origiinal gripe. http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...entions-2.html

To add, Stillen provided no additional response to my inquiries. Since that post, I had the stock tips fabricated to the Stillen exhaust for $400.00. Well worth the price to remove the misaligned-mismatched design theme. It also reduced restiction that was in the Stillen tip.

:shakes head:you know your my buddy but you have no right to make that statement since you are not involved with the situation. There is no reason to make a war as everyone know whats you think of the kit. thats where this is heading is towards a war.
Frank

do I have the right to talk all the crap I want since I had their kit but removed due to it not working correctly?

You're right, they could've handled it a better way. I did mentioned to them through emails to take the kit back only to get those questions avoided. So here I am, hating on them. It's a Shitty situation that we all did not anticipated. It's $3,000 I lost, not $300.00 lol

You already said this in previous threads that you made. Kit didn't work out for you and people know this. Do I feel they should have taken the kit back, yes for both your guys sake. I am just saying all this was already said and how many times we going to keep bringing the same old shiz up again.

We all get it that there was some tunning problems from stillen. Alot of the people that had problems came on here reported it and disapeared to not tell us the resolution of it. To me that means they got the situation fixed and are now happy with the kit. If they were not they would still be on here telliung us about it. Also like I said there are people here who gave there honest opinions about the kit and they are happy with what they got. All the info is there on this forum there is no point in beating a dead horse with a stick because it is not getting anything acomplished or satisfying any problems. All this info is oput there, people said what they had to say, let the consumer decide what is best for there car.

For the record Frank I don't doubt Stillen or Vortecs products, based on past experiences and stories I don't think their tunes are where they should be... Obviously people like RCZ and Dal are quite happy with their products...

I think constant criticism from customers is what is needed to get companies to change. It's not like Weiboy is spreading false information.

Never said he did and didn't acuse him of doing so. My point was criticism was already givin he said what he felt and gave the community true information of his experiance. There was a few threads and post about it. People just purchased this kit and are having good experiance with it so far and they don't need people running around bashing what they just spent there money on. I hope you understand what I am saying since I can't find another way to put it other then weiboy already posted his experiance a few times no need to keep repeating it and re-taking the trip down memory lane, causeing an uproar and also having people that didn't own the kit bashing it.
Frank
PS I am friends with weiboy and shumby
