Lets just hope Stillen resolves all these problems sooner rather than later.

Yeah but all i'm saying is people get our cars confused for porsches, whereas mustangs are confused for older used mustangs, and camaro's are either confused for dodge stratus' (98-2001) or toys that turn into robots.

I'm constantly surprised how underrated the 370z is. My brother in his tuned EVO X is now a believer. Even if his forum is full of haters and naysayers.

Perhaps, but it would cost less money to make a mustang faster.

My point is that this car vs that car has no place in this thread, this is about people sorting out this stillen mess. Which i'm very interested in as the first kit that shows it can meet its advertised numbers consistently will be the one getting my money.

Let's not forget the part where people don't buy Z's for striaght line stuff and if they do they are just wasting time and money.

Why are you even here if you just want to poke fun at somebody whos having a dififcult time getting the advertised result of a product he paid for?

Not making fun..I'm frustrated for him. I want to go forced induction with my 370. The aftermarket is just so slow with this car and now we have have a charger that's out but doesn't work. :ugh2: Have you driven a new mustang or camaro? The days of saying "I'll get you in the twisties" are over.

The new stangs are pretty cool but there is nothing desireable about the new camaro. They weigh 4000lbs...enough said. You even have to get the SS to get to 400hp. :icon14:

Not getting into a vs's battle here. Just putting up the correct stats for the camaro. The weight of the camaro is 3800 and it doesn't matter if it's a pig when it's got 426 hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.

3913 - SS automatic
3860 - SS manual

Thats pretty fat.

I just don't like them at all. I like the 5.0 stangs though.

Wow!!!! Talk about a complete change in attitude about Stillen and their supercharger kit between page 1 & this last page!!!!!! Take a look starting with page 1 and it's nothing but excitement & pure praise for Stillen. Then jump here to the last page and it's doom and gloom.

Looks like the guys from Stillen went from being heros to being the enemy. Are they even posting as frequently in this thread now that's it's gone South for them?

It looks to me like Stormcrow should have been taken more seriously for his questions concerning this supercharger kit and not been hassled so much for doing so.

Exactly what I've been thinking all along.

Sounds like the 'extensive testing' was & is still being done by the first customers/guinea pigs that purchased the kit.

This all sounds so much like what people have said in the past about software companies prematurely releasing thier software before it's properly tested and had most of the bugs worked out of it.

I was pretty interested in this kit when I started off reading this thread, but now I'm most definitely NOT interested.

The car is almost undrivable with the newest tune.. With tune seven my numbers are 397hp and 293lb/toque with tune 6 my numbers are 276hp and 299lb/toque. I reverted back to tune 6 because at least that one is drivable. Im officially throwing in the towel i dont want to wait for any more tunes. I believe seven tunes and three months with the supercharger installed is ample time to figure this out. I have decided to go a different FI route. I have requested for my money back from stillen with no response yet. I hear everyone say how great stillen is and how they stand behind their products. I hope in my case they stand behind their product and give me back my money. Will post dynos later.

Do you plan still going the FI route after this experience? I'd just say F it, go TT...

Best of luck to you. What a HORRIBLE experience.

I cant turn back now. Thinking TT:driving: Just waiting to see if stillen stands behind their products and grants my request for a refund

No offense, but the hardware isnt really the problem. Why dont you ask them instead of a refund to get a reputable tuner shop in your area, and have them do a custom tune for your vehicle. Have them refund you the money for the tune you paid for and pay for the new one.

I cant believe people have not done this yet, at least this way everyones car will be set and can move on. I think custom tunes are a little safer, and you can get the most power out of your vehicle.
