I wish it was mine. It's Fezzik's G37 vert. 6MT. I'll let him chime in with more updates eventually... but the fix Sam sent out worked great!

CARB cert update?

We just finished the last part of the crab instruction, what is left is sending the car to be tested .

We are confidant we are going to nail this the first time .

Sam, why is it that you don't try for CARB cert with the TT kits?

Our turbo kit Is TUV approved in Germany, So it is possible and i know it can be done. TUV certification is much tougher to get vs the carb certification here .

I don't think it is worth for us it to go through the trouble if getting that done especially sense we have an SC FI kit taht will be carb approved .

Haha, it would be worth it to me! I want a TT, but hate the thought of dealing with CARB here.

I truly think that customers that are set on a twin turbo set up are going to get it no matter what, At least that what i have seen in the past. Beside California market for FI is getting smaller and smaller every year.

Why do you think that is? Laws? Crappy gas? Crappy economy?

Just have to be careful how much you drive the car.
I know in Texas (and I assume Cali is worse), if cops see your car to often they will write you a ticket and force you to register it in the state. There are ways around the laws but would have to look at each state.

Even if your in the armed forces. I know there is a goverment law that allows us to keep are vehical registered in are state of residence. Like I drive my car all day and never once got pulled over for a issue with where my tags are. I can see if they did that to people that live in cali and are residence there.

True, and if you pull the military card I could imagine they would have to let you off.
Since they have no idea how long you have or will be there they cannot say much. Plus you are in the military, do what you want (within reason).
