One thing Ive noticed on extreme summer performance tires is that temperature is a VERY big contributor to grip vs spin. I had my MT streets out on the highway and went squirrely in 4th in 50*F. Where in 70*+ they wouldn't do that in 2nd.
The rubber compound is designed to get soft and sticky in "summer" temps. Cool weather turns them into hard plastic. I cant speak for the PS4's though.
