Hopefully I will have up and running so that I can run on the same track she blew up on exactly two years from that weekend.

Yep, at this point you're going to do whatever it takes to just get it finished. Hopefully, you'll be breaking it in at the track, not breaking it :icon17:

Hopefully these king racing rod bearings don’t disappoint, hate being one of the first motors in the states to run these bearings. Hashtagguineapig

I believe soho used king bearings in Ben's 900whp sc build. But, he doesn't have a lot of miles on his motor yet.

Negative, they didn’t exist. Main bearings yes, not rod bearings.

You are correct. I just checked his build sheet and they were main bearings. I guess you're the guinea pig

I had King Main bearings in my old engine and also in my new engine. It's the King Rod bearings as Elmo mentioned.

Elmo370z 09-26-2020 03:08 PM

3 more weeks..... after waiting 5 months for king racing rod bearings they should finally be here. I’m getting anxious. Now I wish someone would buy my comp turbo so I can upgrade to a 9180 EFR

Elmo370z 09-30-2020 01:34 PM

Rod bearings should be in next week. So fellas if it holds true, you will be able to replace the oem rod bearings.

That’s what king racing said themselves. Mark confirmed it

You have a date now. That is a move in the right direction. Motor #2 will be waiting for said bearings also.

In three weeks it will be two years of waiting. My patience has turned into numbness.

Hopefully yours will be ready for pickup soon :hello:
Mine probably won’t be ready for another 3-months (+ or -) :icon14:

As with all the other things I have to do; gonna be a while on my end assembling all the supporting mods :iagree:

I already have them. They were hand ported though. He has 2 more engines to build besides yours. Maybe more. The CNC will make it much faster. Hand porting took a week a head it seemed like. Yours may have been hand ported also.

Negative ghost rider. My
Motor wasn’t touched because I was waiting on those rod bearings🤯

Well that sucks. I guess I have the only set. Go figure. That is what he based his programing off of for the CNC machine.

“They are on the way from Israel, they will be getting shipped out on the 7th be here in the states by the 28th of December, shipped out to by that Friday first week on January” so the king racing rod bearings are done and getting ready to be shipped from Israel. First week
Of January backorders should be filled. Fingers crossed, I don’t know how much longer I can wait

Spooler 11-30-2020 10:27 AM

Elmo370z 12-07-2020 03:23 PM

Confirmed rod bearings are in route

How deep are your pockets. :rofl2:

I used to work with inconel. It's not easy to work with. Most machinists hate it.
