That came off a BIG diesel. Has 4 ports on top for the exhaust to go into. Each port is 5" in diameter.

Sounds about right to make 1000whp

Better add lots of numbers to that. Some where around 20,000hp, torque over 30,000 ftlbs. These engines normally have 1 turbo for every 4 cylinders.

While this Ebola **** is making it hard for business to properly operate, on the bright side my new ATS diff was ordered today.

Elmo370z 04-27-2020 11:49 PM

Since I’m never getting my back, mine as well look at upgrading for clout points. If this turbo doesn’t sell, I’m going to upgrade to a HKS T51R housing. Mmmm that sound

Just ordered 99.9% of the spl catalog, while the car still sit in purgatory on rod bearings.

Elmo370z 07-06-2020 05:50 PM

Got damn modelo 34 messing **** up for me, motor is finally in the process of being put together. Talked with mark last week, if by the time the final assembly is near and no word from king racing of the rod bearings the will be put together with Oe. Hope this will hold up to the abuse I’m about to send it through.

Elmo370z 07-06-2020 07:26 PM

Well I forgot, I can’t thank spooler enough for all the support, help, and guidance to help me through my build. I had a million questions nobody could or would answer and he took personal time out his day to answer them for me.

You got to keep a couple of steps ahead of that Murphy guy. Think of everything he could do. And fix it before he gets his fingers in it.

A lot has been changed. No rubber bushings will be left in the car, only oem component to the block is the rod bearings for now, crank and block itself

Hard compound ... Endurance spec tyre. They are durable enough for a 1-hour stint. At this years Bathurst 12-hour GT race, some teams double-stinted as that was quicker than touring the pits, and changing tyres, but they were proper shagged after 2 hours.

DM is medium and DS is soft

DH will take around 2 laps to get enough heat to generate good grip and will be skatey whilst they warm up.

I looped my race car on the out/warm-up lap when I first put Pirelli's on the car - scared the cr4p out of me how quickly the car got away from me (used to SS12 - medium - compound Japanese Dunlops).

Take it easy to get them hot enough to grip, OR find a source of DM.

I have used the TCR tyre which is a 270/650R18 in Medium to good effect (TCR is the 2 litre FWD touring car series - not sure if it is in the US yet).
