By the way, My tune was garbage from the get go from SOHO. The transient throttle response was garbage. I always had a stumble at 2800rpm's or so rolling into the throttle. It would go lean and then pig rich. The car would buck. The transient throttle response absolutely sucks. The fueling tables were not right. I got logs of it too. I tried to have Nick fix it. Still had it. It is the most frustrating thing ever. I never had this issue with Vince's tune. Vince tuned my car twice and it was perfect. That's what I expect and the dang guy freaking delivered.

Spooler, Did you ever get your stumble at 2800 rolling into throttle fixed? I have a 2017 370Z with Fast Intentions Stage 2 with UpRev dyno tune and have what sounds like the same issue you outlined in your post. Thanks for any insight you can share.

I had a couple of problems, but it is hard to say exactly what was causing it. I had a coil pack issue under load at 16psi of boost. I put a brand new set of Nissan coilpacks in the car.

Thanks for that info... did the new coil packs solve your issue? I have thought I may have a coil issue as well but don't know if there is a way to test them without a trip to the dealership.

My wife thinks SOHO took me out on purpose. I don't know if they did or didn't, but it sure looks suspicious. One thing is for sure, they had a ton of skin in the
game and lots to gain if I was gone.

Was the intercooler one of the Soho versions that they sell separately on their site that are "said" to be upgrades to the BP intercoolers?

I'm not one to talk smack either way since my only experience with Soho was my Coolerworx that I purchased from them. Shipping was quick but I had to figure out the install myself. But hey... it benefitted everyone else, yeah?

That being said: it would raise suspicion (to me) when you think about it... everyone knows how well Mazworx builds engines, yet their first high profile VQ37 engine build encountered issues that "could" be attributed to a competing company (who is also known for high profile VQ37 builds) that also worked on and tuned the same vehicle (to include tuning), who has the potential to lose business should the aforementioned builder's engine run incident free in the 1000+ range.... just speculating, not blaming, insinuating, or anything like that. I hope you come back stronger than ever bro whether VQ, VR, VK, SR, LS, JZ or what-have-you.

Yes, it was a duplicate to what they make just to fit a Fast Intentions kit. It sucks and doesn't work properly.

I sold 15 of those SOHO intake manifolds for 2500 dollars each. That is $30,000. You would think I could have got that Janky spacer without too much hassle. Oh heck NO!!!!! They couldn't even sell the dang things before our group buy. They should have gave me a new intake manifold machined properly. I couldn't even get the Janky spacer crap. They installed it. They didn't notice it all over the freaking valve cover.

I am not done. SOHO didn't put me out. They just pissed me off. That's all. I am going to take a sledgehammer to that POS and then piss on it. Yeah, that is going on Instagram.

Soho is best buddies with Moncef at Admintooning, just tells you what kind of people they are. Not sure why you even took your car to them smh..

IATs don't have anything to do with AFRs. You shouldn't be running 10.5 AFR on E85 at full boost. That's pig pig rich. 11.3 at the most assuming your sensors are accurate.

As for SOHO purposely taking you out, I hightly doubt that as other Mazworx motors have lifted heads aswell. I'm willing to bet that their motors would push coolant had they actually pushed them with smalelr turbos, not ones that spool at damn near redline lmfao.

Now for a VR38 swap, it's definitely doable and has been done on a shop owner's car that I know in Bahrain. It'll cost you approx 50k to do it right if not more, personally the Z is not worth spending 2-3x the msrp when you can have a better car by grabbing the GTR.

It should be around 10.5at WOT. I would rather be a little rich. I am the only one with a Mazworx engine that lifted the heads. I am not sure who else you are talking about. Maybe you don't know who I am. Maybe you can figure out who I am. All good. I will leave it at that.

Because I was STUPID!!!! I have a few more tricks up my sleeve. All good. I will fix my mistakes and move forward. My AFR's were 13.5 at Pocono.

I still have the CJM IC for the CJM manifold sitting around!
