Wife and I have been talking about it. It is up to me if I want to go any further. She completely understands I am very disappointed. Compared to others my car was slow as dog chit. I need to find 20mph somewhere. A gear change is not gonna do it. I need 200 more whp also. I can't even keep the one I have running properly. What the hell is the point.

Well, the car doesn't scare me. It is still slow. I need a twin turbo UGR Lambo but I am too damn poor.

Until I get this reaction I will not be satisfied. LOL

Congrats Spooler.... Glad you were able to make the event and have some fun!

I totally agree with Elmo370Z...Take the time to enjoy the car for you. You've been through a whole lot with this build in the past few years....Sometimes the best thing is just to lay back not worry and enjoy the moments for what it is.

Maybe it’s time to put a proper turbo system
In place, twin front low mounts, get rid of the factory core support. Now you will have room to play with. Run the proper size piping. Turbo size won’t be a restriction due to space. 12-1400whp shouldn’t be an issue then. If 900’s are slow to you then unfortunately this is the next step. Those twin mid mount only can go so big before you run out of space.

It may be time to VR38 swap it and be done with all this silly chit.

Did your engine give in? I scrolled back a page or two but didn't find the answer.

Well, it was one heck of many issues to deal with. Trailer tire blowing, 5 new ones installed. Then a valve stem on an outside dually wheel blew, it was flat when I went to fill up. 2 hrs later. Roll racing was new to me so I took it slow. Traction out the wazo with the new wheels an tires. 140mph, 150mph, 160mph, 157mph, then the dreaded 147mph. I missed 5th. On the lap around the track the car temp gauge spiked. Limped it back to the pits, coolant had came out the coolant reservoir. I had noticed it earlier and thought I may have over filled it. NOT!!!! It appears I was pushing a little coolant on every high boost run. I developed a air pocket. Car over heated. Bleed the system back and and took it for a drive. Temps are fine. I didn't kill the motor but it got dang hot 268 deg. It will have to come back out sometime in the future. At the moment it will stay on low boost until then.

Just being able to run that beast WOT at those top speeds was cool to watch I might add. Tires held their grip on that track too. You’ll no doubt do better/be faster next go around. Chit happens but that’s racing. You left Poconos with a lot more knowledge about the car then when you entered…and that’s a good thing.

What Spooler did hasn't been done before at Pocono Z's don't run there he was the only 370z. What he did was impressive Jonxxx and I witnessed it with our own eyes. I respect the fact that he came all the way up North and gave it a shot something no other 370z has done since rolling racing began there in 2013-2014 that includes myself .

It would have been better if the car didn't break. I could make adjustments and come back. Now I have to deal with a broke car for the 3rd time. The more I drove. the better I got. Next time, I will run even better. If there is a next time.
