We shall see. I have 3 gears I am OK in, I will just get a ticket. 4th, 5th, and 6th, I will go to jail and lose my job. Plus, it is very dangerous. The car is stupid fast and if it does something unexpected I won't be around anymore. Yes, I play. But it is not for long stretches of road and time. 1/2 mile events are much safer to do such. I am conflicted on "Do I even care". I am more like Nikki Lauda in my older age. I am OK with taking certain levels of risk. When that level becomes too high, I just won't do it. When I was younger I was no doubt a James Hunt. One ride in the car at full tilt and everyone would understand.

Yes, that's the 1. I knew the "record" was just broken a few days ago, but couldn't find the post. What's his IG?
Update: Doug ran a 6.63. Shane ran a 6.19. I was mistaken, didn't realize it was that big of a gap. Griffin's and Doug's cars are both 6MT vs Shane's 7AT.

I can tell the difference between 10:1 and 11:1. Mark and I decided to drop the compression ratio to give a little more headroom in tuning. I notice the most difference between the two in the additional lag on tip in at lower rpm. Comparing the dyno graphs you can see it. I had to give up a little bit on the bottom to gain more on the top. No way would I go lower than 10:1. I am still not sure how I feel about it. For the boost levels I wanted to end up at I had no choice but to drop it.
