This is Robert, owner of the car in this thread. I had the car built for endurance races. The rear diff cooler may very well be overkill but I always err on the side of safety and reliability. Like others have said there is no sense in spending X amount of money without adding at a minimum of .5X for safety and reliability. For those of you wondering parts + install cost about 25K and took 5 months for GTM to complete. This is not my first highly modified car and I have learned from my previous rides not to skimp on cooling and sensors. I had orginally opted for an upgraded radiator however, it never became available.

The car has excellent driveability and it can truly be used as a daily driver if one wanted, although I do not. I drove the car 1600 miles from GTM in California back to Dallas and had no issues with the car to speak of. I did get stuck in some nasty California rush hour traffic and other than my leg getting tired from the pedal effort required for the OS Gikken clutch the car was very easy to drive. I never really opened the car up as I was travelling with my son and didnt want to take any chances. The fuel economy was suprisingly good, I was shocked that I was getting about stock MPG. The car maintains 80MPH at 2-3% throttle in 6th gear. To pass those who chose to drive 50MPH in the fast lane a quick downshift to 4th and about 40% throttle will get you moving in a hurry and back to a normal cruising speed. I have learned that you can not be too heavy footed on the gas in 1st 2nd or 3rd gears as you will spin the tires and go nowhere. I honestly have not had the oppurtunity to take the car to a track and really test it. I've only gotten into the turbo's a few times but when i have the car does not act like a wild drunken mad man like my Supra used to, rather it acts very delicate and poised with a nice linear acceleration after the initial surge of boost.

I appreciate the comments about the 'sleeper' look as that is really what i was going for. If anyone is really interested in the car it will be listed for sale in the next few weeks.
