The tuner out here is saying that he wants to tune my car at a 95 RON (equal to about 91 Octane) instead of the 98 RON (Equal to 93 Octane). His reasoning is because he says that alot of gas stations will say 98 RON but it will really be 95 RON. Now if he tunes it at 95 RON how bad will it be if I do get a real 98 RON in the tank? Should I be worried about tuning it at a lower RON?
Might be a good idea to take a couple of weeks of vacation far south of your location, use the need for a tune as an excuse. Stay safe.
