My $.02- I like the Whipple charger as the most efficient option. I would think with the decent V depth on the engine, getting in there and maintaining the stock hood should be doable and paramount for me. not having to do all the manifold changes and plumbing of a turbo is appealing..all bolt on from the top with nothing hanging off the side. Whipple for me!

They only have 19 photos posted, and they are only related to the pedals. Got a link? Or maybe you have special privileges?

I am not following this statement for some reason. What do you mean by keeping it under the hood isn't in our favor?

Interesting... voted for the Whipple!

Good afternoon everyone!

Well we have made a decision to move forward with atleast one platform and possibly a second.

We are big proponents of innovation and this brings us to the platform we want to pursue first.

The platform we are starting with will be the Positive Displacement Supercharger kit. We are currently in the measurement and initial design phases. The kit will be scale able and efficient. We have already started planning around the Whipple 2.9L (W175AX) unit. This supercharger has been known to easily push 500whp and up to 900+whp with corresponding mods and fuel.

As stated above we are working on measurements now and are working with Whipple directly in reference to their supercharger. We have a good bit of space constraints regarding the motor valley and hood. We are looking at all our options to make the most efficient, compact and powerful Supercharger kit developed for this platform.

We are aiming to debut the kit in person at Zdayz 2017!

As far as cost we are looking to be sub $10k retail. Also as far as hood modifications it is too early to tell. We do have a company car here at the shop that we will be doing all the mock up and designing on. Our basis will be around the Stock hood. Aftermarket hoods such as the VIS terminator hood offer better cooling and a larger dome area for the supercharger.

So stay tuned! More news to follow!

Also to note:

All parts will be made in house and out of billet. So you can come to expect the great quality and accuracy in every unit. There will also be extensive testing done on the platform to ensure repeatable performance in every kit sold.

Awesome! Out of curiosity, do you happen to know off hand if the G37 (coupe) hood affords more or less space than a Z's?

Whew sub 10k. Hope it makes as much power as the available turbo kits that are out now.

Yeah, it's gonna need to be sub 8k before I give it any thought. Oh well.

I don't think they know yet since they have t designed the kit yet.

Well, they did say sub 10k. That's twin turbo kit prices from large, well known, tested companies. I wouldn't be interested at that price. But, we'll see what happens soon I hope.
