The hood is baby sheet compared to the completed SC installed, tuned & dyno-graph.
I'd like to see a solid 500/500 whp/tq on 93'pump gas. |

Wow, looks like they went all out on the transmission. That ain't going to be cheap. Guess speed never is, sigh.

All this talk on automatics is boring. :shakes head: Wish someone would come out with a reasonable sequential gearbox for us manual guys. :driving:

500 ft-lbs @ 7500 RPM = 714 HP 500 HP @ 7500 RPM = 350 ft/lbs If you really want both 500 ft-lbs and 500 hp (max), then TQ is going to need to nose dive starting at 5252 RPM from 500 ft-lbs down to 350 ft-lbs at 7500 RPM. I'd say 400-420 ft-lbs across the rev range would be awesome. Plus, I think they wanted to limit it to 400 for the auto trans. Even 400 ft-lbs @ 7500 = 571 HP! |

Already see numbers from Turbo Z's...but none on positive displacement Z's...only guesstimating by what the V8 SC engines are doing. |
I was merely pulling some round numbers out the air/ as the LS SC LT4 makes 650/650 at the flywheel & Ford is around 650/550 SC flywheel...as stock bore/stroke; we only have 225ci....so I didn't want to overly guesstimate the possible numbers,,,,as we've seen Turbo'd stock bottom ends go well over 700H, it's the 600+ wtq that stresses them.
No argument on power curve. |
RJM,
Do you plan to provide the Whipple air bypass system for this kit? |
