In most N/A to Turbo cases, you're right. But the newer Nissans respond a bit differently to TT installs.
As far as emissions goes, our basic Twin Turbo Kit installs don't prompt any check engine lights from the ECU. For emissions testing, if you car doesn't have any ECU error codes, generally speaking, you're A OK. So emissions shouldn't be much of a problem. ![]() State inspection, however, varies from state to state. Depending on the state, if they check underneath your car to see if you have cats on the car, they'll still see the turbo catted downpipes that look like cats, so you should still be good. But we can't guarantee that. -jon
