I bet. Eliminating the oil system probably cuts a day out of install.

Can't wait. Parts are starting to trickle in for me. Turbo kit is here (still waiting on the comp turbo). Wiseco 11:1 Pistons, and Carrillo Pro H-Beams on the way. Just ordered 2 barrels of e90 as well. Getting excited!

Didn't you have a BP kit before?

NeverBoneStck 02-22-2017 08:31 PM

Turbo landed today..

Yes sir. I had the v1 kit on my 12 z. Sold the car and bought a 14 gtr, and ended up picking up a 13 nismo z recently so I decided to go nuts on this one with internals and everything. Excited to have this improved kit on this car. It's such a great kit, and Sasha has been great to deal with both times

Yup, as per the email.

All orders are now done, and the last two kits are going out tomorrow.

I am flying out of town for two weeks at the end of the month, so not much fabrication going on. When I get back I'll be right back at it.

Looking forward to new orders.

It's 100% sure for the manifold design that is on my car. There's no room to fit it in.

Crossover pipe or whatever you want to call the piping from the header flange to the turbo flange.

And who makes what you have that prevents it from fitting?

I'll add that if the delete kit is completely within the transmission housing, it would fit. There just isn't any room between the manifold/crossover pipe and the transmission. On my kit I can't even change the transmission fluid without dropping the manifold piping and turbo.

Sasha, it was good talking with you. I'm looking forward to the kit and power! :driving:

So if you go with the comp turbo setup then that would mean you wouldnt even need an oil pan anymore either. I think this just became a 6 hour install kit if you have done it before. :happydance:

I seriously think I could install (or uninstall) this thing in a weekend by myself on jack stands without breaking a sweat. Most DIY friendly turbo kit out there!

Are catch cans required/recommended?

They're not technically required, but they're a good idea for your investment. They help with blow-by by keeping most of the oil out of your intake side by catching the oil vapors from your crankcase breather setup. I have two catch cans on my current setup and when I empty them it's about 3oz of oil every 2k miles that didn't go through my intake.

Ni55anPat 03-12-2017 10:44 PM

^thank you.

Got pictures of your setup?

This is the setup I currently have. Both black catch cans are on the inside of the intake piping. I wanted something small, but functional.

Sorry to go off topic!

Hey Sasha just curious, the main thread says $7,300 + PP fees, but your signature says $7,980.. surely the PP fees aren't $680

Correct, the $7,980 covers PP fees and all the shipping.

I just edited the first post for accuracy on price, and turbo description.

V2 just uses a sandwich plate at the factory location. Pretty sure it's just a factory filter.

I use the one from the large V6 that comes in pathfinder. Same diameter and thread pattern but you get another 20%ish filter medium.

Good idea. I use the one spec'd for the GTR for the same reason.

Purolator PureONE - PL14610

That's the one I run.

Boosted Performance 03-21-2017 11:52 PM

hc_416 03-22-2017 09:30 AM
