Default Max HP on OE crankshaft....?

Well people I am nearing the 1000 WHP mark, but I am very cautious about what the tolerance is. I'm currently at 938whp and 751tq, I believe that's pretty close to 1000 crank horse power. Has anyone broken a crankshaft? Oh and yes my car is a VQ35HR and the block is sleeved.

Thanks guys

Im assuming you have the JMS built Hr? I wouldn't worry about the crank breaking until 11-1200whp level. 1300whp is where the GTR guys seem to break them. If your spinning the motor to stock or alittle bit over redline you should be ok. I have the same turbos as you on my DE, I'm also around that 900whp mark and haven't broke anything yet. My motor isn't sleeved, but that doesn't affect the crack much if at all. I plan on retuning my car up too the 1000whp mark in the next couple weeks. I'm not a pro with the haltech just yet ,but i'm catching on very quick. The one thing I would be worried about with your car is trusting uprev. It can be a very sketchy program (with high powered FI cars) and is very limited with fail safes.

I don't think any one on here can say its safe because there's not enough data and builds that get pushed hard. One thing is our cars wont get enough traction to load the engine very hard with that power on the street. I feel that's why its common to break the crank with a gtr because they have a lot more traction witch causes alot more load. I feel its safe but your entering a very unexplored area with the VQ. Please share your results!
