It's really tight underneath

Which is better motordyne or OEM in terms of power?

I couldn't tell you but Unless you are building a block, stay OEM. Making power is not a problem with this setup. |
TcRocket...turn that second T-bolt clamp around so you get better ground clearance. See how stefonelee's is in the picture below.

You'll have to excuse me I'm completely new to car tuning so my question will probably be stupid ones, I'm mechanically inclined just not with car engines. I want to make my car 4.5 liter so I would have to build the engine block anyway, yes? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Also what does the "BP V" stand for? I've never heard this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
V(ersion) 2.0
You have to do a ton of prep work to the block to make it 4.5, so yes you'd be building it. I'm assuming you are paying someone to do it? My two cents...I love this kit but if I were willing to pull the motor and put the type of money into it you are considering, I'd buy a FI TT kit. |

I will have 3 more V2 kits ready in about 3 weeks. If you are interested please PM me with the following information, using this format:
Tuner or turnkey: BB upgrade on 6266 turbo, $600 Y/N: Upgrade to larger turbo (6766/6870): Exhaust options, OEM, FI, or open extended Y pipe: Recirculated or open to atmosphere wastegates: Full name with ship to address: Phone number: Email: I am just waiting for some Tial flanges to come in so I can finish the 3 manifolds. These kits will be ready to go shortly after I receive the flanges. |
A little birdie told me a forum member made stupid power on E85 stock block.

Good job bro!

Jorge from JMS said the kit flows excellent and very easy to make the power. He made 520whp at 8psi on pump gas and knew it was going to be on once e85 went into the tank. Ladies and Gentlemen I highly suggest getting your check books out for the next round of BP Kits!:driving: |
The engine that could. Very nice! See you on the streets and track. I go to Houston Motorsport Park on Fridays every so often.

Those torque numbers on stock internals. Guessing your next post will look something like this...........:/ Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk |

Wow your response was very inappropriate but understandable! :stirthepot:
One would think you would start off by saying congratulations!:tiphat: But instead come with this inappropriate tag of a previous forum members experience not knowing all of the ingredients involved with this build. Final numbers below. 7psi 9psi 12psi |
Not in appropriate not knocking him those are some badass numbers. Dynosty tuned my boosted performance Z. I had them stop at 417 wtq due to fear of breaking rods with stock internals. So we'll see how long she lasts. I hope it does. If so I'll turn mine up some more.

BP V 2.0 turbo kits...ROUND 3 place your order now
Quote:
There's several people running more than 500wtq on E85. This block is pretty stout. I ran 475wtq for the first year I was boosted and now I'm running 440wtq. All that on pump gas. No issues at all. Anything can happen but it should hold together based on what some of the FI guys are running. **** djtodd tracks his at 660whp. |
Quote:
And that somehow makes 686whp less impressive? Any one that knows anything about this platform knows you're running E85 if you crack 600whp on stock internals. |

Really wish I had e85 readily available around here ... What a/r ratio 6266 are you running ? the 1.15 ?

The numbers you guys with full V2.0 and Ecutek are getting is insane. I'd really like to know how much is the new compressor cover and how much is Ecutek. Either way y'all are making similar power at 2-3 pounds less than us running V1.0 and UpRev.

BP v2 journal bearing here. Dyno 505/435 on 93. I slapped the kit on at 39,xxx and now have 52,xxx. He is my DD and yes I do race her lots. Elite has serious HP/tq there but this is not his first boosted ride. Wish I was faster but don't want to spend more on my ride. Ecutec seems to really get every bit of power out of the block and then the traction control really help lays it down.
Happy boosting YzGyz |

Spent most of the day enjoying my Z. Realy all needed to be said is WOW! What a whip she has become, even with this hot Houston weather the car performed perfectly all while keeping temperatures lower than when it was stock.
Been playing between the 7 PSI map and 9 PSI map and can definitely feel the difference between the two. Have yet to play with the 12 PSI Map.:driving: |
Lol, 12 psi is going to knock your socks off! The acceleration is phenomenal!

BP V 2.0 turbo kits...ROUND 3 place your order now

I'm aware of that but It has no impact on what I'm talking about. The comparisons I'm looking at are guys running 93 oct not E85. Even with straight pump gas the V2.0 and Ecutek are making more power at less boost. |
So, random question for you boosted guys: Do you typically do your own routine maintenance and other things for the car, or do you still take it to the dealer? Just wondering if dealers are hesitant at all to work on boosted cars. I know it probably depends on the dealer, but I was just curious.
