We need pictures that can show where it actually sits in relation to the rest of the rear end of the car. as for the skid plate idea, that would have to be one hell of a skid plate to be able to gaurd the turbo from a speed bump google up some rock guards for 4x4's and you'll see what i mean 16Gguage would just buckle and it would still hit the turbo and thats .06 thick.
