Side mirror

My passenger side mirror was hit last night and the mirror cover was almost totally taken off. The mirror itself is fine. Does anyone know how to take the cover off and a put a new on back on? I went to an autobody shop and the mirror cover is a separate part so it must be put on separately.

if you get stuck and repair won't work, i recently pulled both of my side mirrors off to swap for race mirrors... ~$150 plus ship in brilliant silver

so can you order a replacement mirror from the dealer? instead of dissecting your damaged one the expense will save you a headache. Nissan may not just sell you the cover, but thats my opinion. or like travisjb suggest buy the set his offering pretty good deal.

Nissan will sell the cover by its self. Ask them for the mirror skull or mirror cap. They name it one of those... Its roughly 53.00 painted?

No problem! I forgot to add... I think the 53.00 price mark is the dealer / body shop price. But theres this site where you can get the parts at the body shop price.

Nissan Parts Cheap - Genuine OEM Replacement Parts

I ordered from there once... Didnt regret it.
