There is nothing wrong with a proper GT-wing on a car so long as it's justified. If anything with a GT-wing screams "Fast and the Furious," then I guess every purpose-built car out of a Japanese tuning-house (hell...even American ones for Corvettes and Vipers) and ALMS race-cars do, too.

Yes...such a wing on a stock car would look ridiculous, but I wouldn't be so quick to write it off.

That said, the owner of this car must be a ricer. Wow...stickers and a Fast and the Furious wing. He should hang his head in shame...

A properly functional wing will certainly look good on a track-prepped Z. Keep us posted DDM.

That it's a 150,000 approx..difference and the name speaks performance and craftsmanship your comparing two different class of cars nissan like other imports got tagged as ricers due to the movie it didn't help so does that thing belong on a street driven car of course not the track maybe if it's functional. but again if one likes it then install. I personally didn't like it and that's my opinion.

You are missing the point, but fine...perhaps some more examples of rice without the "150,000 approx..difference" [sic] you can dwell on should suffice...

All I'm trying to highlight is scoffing at GT-wings at a mere mention as too "Fast 'n Furious" is laughable. Evidenced by the pictures above, they can look quite badass in the proper context.

The above is not the same as below, regardless if you think it is. After all...ricey wings are the same, right?

Catch my drift?

I agree the wings like you show are used on the track but taking a stock Z and putting something like this may not look to fuctional on the street. that's what the implication was about theres a difference from a stock and a modified track car. thats all that was meant.

The Ferrari is the only car that looked GOOD with its wing. The rest of the cars looked like race cars and for that reason the wing is there. As much as I LOVE S15s and 3rd Gen RX7s I wouldn't put one on my car.

My 2cents, don't take it personal.

The Nismo wing on my car is quite nice, a little much, but it's grown on me. It's supposed to give some actual downforce, is the GT wing that much better?

I think the reason they asked for pictures of it on your car is because a lot of us have been looking for a cf hood for quite some time but nooone has one available atm
