No reason why not. The body has not changed.

Different shape.
But for enough money, one can make anything fit. |

So are those all the correct part numbers for a front bumper conversion?
Does anyone have part numbers for the side skirts as well as the rear bumper and everything to concert it? If you know the spoiler part number that would be great even. Now if one of you photoshop masters wanna do me a favor convert a roadster into nismo kit with all the parts, black cherry in color. And if you know what color the wine colored top looks like with the red aero pieces painted that. |
Quick question to all of you who ordered the front fascia without the DRL's... What did you guys do/put in the space instead? Im about to order a set too, but those things cost alot... So trying to see what alternatives exist..
|
Custom made pieces from CF or other materials to go into DRL areas.
|
Does anyone have any pictures of what they did in that space by any chance?

Pretty sure Z1 offers the complete necessary parts to do this.

I like it without the red on it, great looking car!

so is there any aftetmarket led light to cover that holes yet?
|
Well I'm on vacation and my car is sitting at a body shop to hopefully get this done. Front bumper was being replaced anyways due to small collision. They first started work on the car before I authorized anything. The person ordered a stock bumper and had it painted ready to put on the car. Now they are bound and determined it will take 4 hours of custom work to make the nismo bumper fit correctly. So all of you who have done it and said its a direct replacement they don't believe. I've told them I won't approve any estimate saying 4 hours custom work and they can put my car back together if they insist....oops I have the funny feeling they trashed the bumper that had been in it. I have much to look forward to when I get home.

picked up my 15' nismo front fascia kit from Z1 last week. Having it painted sometime next week. the only parts missing from the kit (as far as i know) are the 2 fender well extenders. Didn't get the LEDs but i do have the 13' base model with LEDs. Is there a fuse i can pull to disable the power to the LEDs since i will be removing them?

It's OEM. There will not be any issues.

Im so excited to do this soon. I need someone with photo shop skills to help.me out!

Started reading through this thread but couldn't find a definitive answer for whether or not the front bumper and side skirts from the 15 Nismo will fit straight on to a 2010 GT (mine's obviously a UK model but I wouldn't have thought that mkes a difference?).
Does anyone know if these parts will fit without any other mods? Cheers :) |
Does not get more definitive then that.

What about the side skirts? |
It's not like 2015 has any different major body changes from previous years. I doubt Nissan would have a separate assembly lines for just the Nismo. The Nismo is still identical in every way to all the other 370s until suspension, wheels. body kit and exhaust are put on. Attachment points for the body work will be identical to any other 370Z.

:eek2:
This thread makes me want this bumper soooo bad! 1200 for lights is crazy talk! haha. Are our headlights even that much? |

^^ they're necessary to cover the gap in the fender liner and the front bumper. If you're thinking of going 2015 Nismo, just get everything except the DRL's. The extension pieces are about $50.

Hey, does anyone know what the item codes for each part are?
Also, would the 2015 front fender/wheel arch lining be needed as well for a proper conversion? |
Okay so from.what I understand the fender liner fillers are similar to but maybe not the same as the ones on my nismo ('12). On mine I know they aren't completely necessary but definitely would opt to have them. Especially if they're only $50 a pop. As for the undertray I wonder if it would be possible to modify an aftermarket undertray to bolt onto the bumper.
|
Will do a picture when I can finally get the car clean and its done snowing but I now have the bumper on my roadster. Had the nismo badge holes filled in and the whole bumper painted body color (black cherry). The place who did it wanted to paint the red accents body color also and had to tell them no.
Just to make sure side skirts on roadsters and coupes are the same correct? no length difference? Any extra modifications or anything I need to know when I do the rear bumper? And I have to figure out if the nismo spoiler will work on a roadster trunk. |
If someone were to do a detailed step by step DIY for this, I guarantee you would be repped 10000 times!
|
Yeah I wanna see what it looks like without the DRL lights! Also if people are color matching everything etc.

I am thinking there wouldnt be a gap like that if you also had a 2015 rear hatchlid spoiler? Also, the 2015 rear bumper cover you have fitted, does it require new fender liners like the front bumper requires them? On the subject, has anyone fitted a 2015 rear spoiler? I did see Juan's post in the sponser section but still no answers as to mounting and if it uses existing holes. |
