Plus the nismo badge in the corner of the drivers side of the bumper clips in. It's not needed but without it there will be a hole or something for it to snap into.
So front bumper skin, $370 Red trim/finishers pieces, $50 each DRL's, $800 each Nismo badge, $50 Reuse Nissan emblem, $0 Still waiting on word from Z1 to confirm whether or not the non-nismo undershroud and fender liners can be used. Or if a new set has to be purchased, as we know this piece alone on the 09-14 nismo is like $1,400 bucks or so by itself. |

I should have known better than to get my hopes up when the $370 price was posted up. The 'old' Nismo front end conversion costs around $2100.... There was no way in hell this one would only cost 1/4 of that amount. Thanks for the $1600 LEDs, Nissan.
subbed, but waiting on the "nismo front bumper kit" confirmation or not! Other than I think it doesn't..
So for my 2011, Bumper - $370 (I see what they did here) Accessories (snap on liner) -$50 per (how many are there 3 right?) Not bad really if it DOESNT require a kit. |
The only reason the old conversion costs so much is because of all the different parts that have to be replaced to make it bolt together like OEM. All signs point to that not being the case with this one. So aside from their silly DRLs, the conversion really is just a bumper cover and some additional plastic bits. Seems like Nissan was smart about fabbing up this kit.
I will most likely try my hand at wrapping CF over the finishers and DRL holes (Or convert them to CAI ducts). I know the DRLs "complete" the look, but I can't justify that expense. |
We are planning to order for our newly acquired shop car will be with moonbeam and maybe some other accessories.
We have fitted lots of LEDs with custom brackets in different cars including Z/GTR the quality always remains the main issue the one we used in Raptor are 400$ a pair and one we use in GTR are OEM ones huge quality issue, if someone change the 400$ ones twice or thrice in 2-3 years works out same. |
Lip ideas? I think the air dam is a bit too busy. Needs to be tamed. But maybe you can integrate something that can snap in with the bumper.
I don't see an easy way to tame it without covering a large portion of the lower area. At least it is more tame than the Varis kit.
My guess the snap on pieces will be $$$$

The lip kit is destroyed so I plan to take off the kit. The next time I decide to do body work I don't mind modifying the NISMO front bumper, but I also want to get the new sides and a different rear as well as give it a new paint scheme. It's a lot of work, so I'm not doing anything in the meantime.
I'm moving forward with the bumper conversion. Still waiting on the bad news that there is an expensive skid plate though. Every picture that I look at shows an additional piece below the bumper, that does not look like the under tray, and does not appear to be attached to the bumper cover in Z1's picture.
Z1 said that Nissan is being very guarded about what pieces are required, so I have a feeling more will be added as we proceed. Something else for the price list. The little Nismo logo on the bumper, $110. I won't be adding it since I don't have a "true" Nismo and will only be installing the bumper. |
Damn, I was told 50 for the nismo front emblem.

Here is the current list that I was quoted. Front Fascia: $370 Front red pieces(may not be red): $49 each Running lights: $678 each Front Nismo emblem: $110 |
do you have any part numbers with that?
I never checked, but I guess getting stuff like the led's at dealer cost is still going to be crazy high.
Z1 now has the rear bumper. I'm waiting on them to email me back on the price
2015 Nismo Bumper on 2009 Sport possible?
Just call Jon tomorrow and order I placed my order for front and rear.
So those red pieces only come in red (unless someone else will fabricate them) and the nismo badge does have to small holes if you do not use it.
Yes the front red pieces come like that. CF is already in the works
I'm sure that if we need a new undershroud Zspeed with make one, question is WHEN...
If there is enough interest/pre orders I am sure we can have him make it. Joe is awesome. I should receive my bumpers in about 7-10 days.

I did not order the drl, they are way too expensive and for what I will using the bumper is not needed. I did not order an undershroud as I track my car the oem undershroud that's last at all. You can easily make your own undershroud for just a few bucks!!
They don't know yet if it can be reused or not. |
Thanks for keeping us in the loop, are there any part numbers to be had yet?
No part numbers but since they are shipping bumpers, if you call the dealer and have a good parts guy I'm sure he can get them for you. I was not able to find anything online yet.

Give me a few weeks and you will see updates.
Can't wait to see. I love that new bumper.
Any of y'all know if we can remove the 2 spaces behind the "fangs" on the 13+ models, like we could on the 12subs?
I assume you mean the brake duct things. This is what it looks like with the covers unbolted.

Awesome! I'll be buying that bumper eventually, but will wish a mesh grill in place of the DLR's. Could look cool and is better than having a bare hole.
I don't think that's the same thing. Doesn't have the screws to take that piece off if were talking about the same thing
