Lightbulb Perfecting the fit of a bumper

So my shine auto amuse bumpers just came in, and to be quite frank they are pretty spot on in terms of fitment. There are minor (1-3mm) differences here and there which it looks like a little bit of pulling the bumper to one or the other side fixes.

What is the typical procedure body shops take to make something fit flawlessly? This is FRP material. Do i take a heatgun to it and just pull/bend little by little here and there when i need it to fit?

Any advice is much appreciated

I really dont think you can stretch that material with a heat gun. You'd most likely damage it before it stretches.
I've installed the Shineauto amuse bumper before and you're right it fits surprisingly well. However if you want to get it even more perfect then I suppose you'd have to add bondo on the edges to give it that extra couple mm.

Hey Kayzee I would love to see some finished photos of the fitment as I am considering the same setup in the rear. I was contemplating shine vs aerojacket...still undecided, but hear good things about the fitment of shine.
Ive heard letting a body shop fit it to get it right is the only way to go on these rep kits.

There is really no point in buying any frp parts and not having them professionally fitted. There will always be some work that needs to be done in terms of 'massaging' to get the perfect fit. Plan this in your purchase and there will be no surprises.... don't plan for body work and you will be disappointed in the sloppy results....
