Has anyone tried to or already replaced the 09 front bumper with the '13 one? (the one with the stock DRL)

Yeah, they call them 2013-14s.
I know there is one for sure, who, no idea, but I know a guy who traded his 13+ for a 09-12 front. You'd just have to jimmy the DRL lights to work, shouldn't be too hard

If nobody has a definite answer for you, there is quite a bit of body dimension info in the FSM. If the mounting holes are in the same place, it ought to work. I don't know if the FSM will have what you need, but it would be a good place to start.
As .5 pointed out, you will have to figure out the DRLs. Since many foreign early-year Zs had DRLs, some of the wiring and other hardware may already be there. Might be as simple as installing a relay and a couple of harnesses. FSM definitely has all the wiring info and, IIRC, part numbers. If you're going to be doing any work on your Z, the FSM is a must-have.

Really hope Carlitos_370z is joking.
OP - Can I ask why you would consider the bumper swap? Are you just looking for a cheaper way to upgrade appearance vs having to buy an Amuse or other aftermarket bumper? |
