Default Driver Window Lowering Problem

Hi,
Just took 370Z out of storage from Winter. Since I have driven the car, driver side window does not properly lower & rise up properly when opening & closing door. When I open & close the driver door to correct this the window lowers even more... To correct this need to start the car again and raise window up fully. then open door and process starts all over again... Any idea what the problem is or possible solutions?

Search for the window reset procedure. They just have to be reset.

Did you disconnect the battery for storage? If so, you need to reset your windows, as mentioned.

This is Minnesota. I store numerous summer vehicles over the winter and numerous winter vehicles over the summer. I never disconnect the batteries, just leave them connected up to Battery Tenders for the entire-off season.

Push the start button twice(without pushing the brake), push the window buttons down and hold for 5 sec, push the windows button up and hold in the all up for 5 sec, push the stat button to turn car off. That should fix it.

Yeah, what JWillis72 said. I think the 5 sec waiting period starts when the window gets to the full-open/-closed position, so don't get in a hurry.

While its a pain at least you car reset things on the 370Z without involving a dealer. My car does something strange like this often after being worked on. Don't freak out if your airbag light ever starts flashing it's another thing that has to be reset if you mess with the electronics.

Don't do that if you have electricity where the care is stored. Just hook it up to a float charger.

I had the same problem too when I was replacing my battery. Every time I opened the door it'd roll down a little Lol... Googling this forum helped

I'm not sure that word means what you think it means.

I was thinking "pointless", maybe "silly".

Default Reset

From the drivers side controls, press the open/down button and continue to hold it for 10 seconds after it bottoms out, then do the same in the up/closed direction. That should be the factory reset. Must be from drivers side controls.
