Warranty is long gone. Been ignoring it for a year.
How much is the home link gonna set me back?

Last summer, sitting in work parking lot. I always use a front window shade when it is hot. I guess the heat reflected up towards the mirror and made the backing sag???
It happened gradually, and I've never noticed any really excessive heat build up.
I did not have tinted windows at the time.
