Those with aftermarket hoods - weather strip.

To those that have went with an aftermarket hood, whether it be carbon fiber or fiberglass did you put on any weather strip on the front like the stock hood has?

i transferred the stripping from the stock to the aftermarket

I haven't looked yet as to how easy it is to get off the stock hood, thought I would ask, if easy would save cost of a new one.

Pulled the OEM one off, drilled new holes in hood and reattached. Some areas could not be drilled, so I scuffed the underside with some sandpaper and applied a little 3m double sides tape.
