Yes I do have to remove it to change my oil filter since it's been relocated to the other side of the engine. The review was for the majority of buyers, who will have the oil filter in the factory location.

It's also worth mentioning that I have an oil pan spacer on my car and the Z-Speed shroud clears it easily.

i like how they include those new fasteners and stuff.

are these shrouds any heavier than the factory plastic ones?

I'm sure it does, but I can't see more than a few pounds

My hand scale says not much difference. Definitely not pounds difference. I didn't bother weighing them as I wanted the rigidity that the Z-Speed shroud offers above all else.

Canadian pounds and 'Murican pounds are different... I thought everyone knew that...

I could see it being 2lbs more

Ok, i just remembered that I have an extra shroud. I weighed it and the factory piece. DEpointfive0 is right, the Z-Speed shroud is ~3 lbs heavier. Time to get my "hand scales" recalibrated.

These are the weights I recorded on my digital scale. I would use these numbers as reference only as I'm sure my measuring device is not 100% accurate.

Factory shroud = 2.2lbs

Z-Speed shroud = 5.6lbs

I have updated the OP with the weights.

ZSpeed underbody shroud installed; makes oil changes a lot easier. I wish all mods could be this easy.

I can also confirm this on a G. Gale and I both run the BP Turbo kit, which comes with the JWT pan spacer. I'm running the V2 ZSpeed Undershroud and have no pan clearance issues.
