Just buy a 7443 bulb, cut the outside leads off and move the inner leads over to that position. Someone else on the forum did a DIY on this (did

Just buy a 7443 bulb, cut the outside leads off and move the inner leads over to that position. Someone else on the forum did a DIY on this (did a quick search and did not find it to reference) and it solved my issue of the bulb being too bright and too hot when used full time. Took all of 2 seconds though and if you had a 7443 bulb it would be apparent.
I had simply wired it to my license plate light so it was on whenever the lights were on. Jim |
