Default Hail protector

What do you guys think about this? https://www.hailprotector.com/ I got hit earlier this year pretty badly and am trying to prevent another incident (live in an apartment with no garage). I was also thinking about possibly renting a storage unit because it'll only be for another year or so. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

LOL, when I saw the title, I knew you were going to post this.

Are you going to run out when it starts to hail? And what prevents someone from stealing it, or being a díck and popping it

When is your lease up? The threat of hail is more of a spring thing, so try to get a garage by March or April of next year. That's your best option.

Considering how expensive that thing is and how often it actually hails, Id say you're better off watching the weather and tying an inflatable mattress to the top of your car the one or two days a year when it needs it. Maybe some nice think bubble wrap

I don't think it's going to work. The crazy hail storm shot peened my car with super crazy high winds (hail and rain in horizontal direction). It would've blown this cover off. Plus, it hailed without warning. It was raining without any wind, and started dropping large hail stones without warning minutes before the chaos with heavy rain and high winds.
