Hows much does it usually cost for a bodyshop to install these vents? Cutting into my hood myself is too scary for me.

Might be cost effective to get a premade CF hood from them and sell the stock one then.

Thats what I plan to do. I wang full Cf hood with these vents.

cooltoy 07-15-2013 12:18 PM

I doubt you'd be able to mold these vents into a CF hood.

Unless you paint the hood after.

Nissanboy 07-15-2013 03:51 PM

I've been waiting for this hood
Also in for CF!

Ok car is done and leaving today below pictures will show the design a bit more clearly

Installing hood vents in stock hood isint such a difficult job, our guy takes 3-4 hours to finish it, main thing is to make the vents then bondo work which is another 3-4 hours so all in all a day's job if you have the vents

Damn that looks so sick!

Are the inserts you put in provided or an extra option? Also are they required or is there a way to easily put them in & remove them on bad days?
They look nice for those rainy days but still allow some air/water to vent through each way which is good.

Nissanboy 07-16-2013 05:29 PM

It looks good but the amuse one looks a little longer and more curved. Perhaps it's the angle of the photo?

cooltoy 07-16-2013 06:04 PM

For comparison.

Its not inserts we might do for this car but what you see in pictures is special mesh grill we use for hoods at times, holes are smaller, and these are fixed in the hood cant be removed
