Maybe we could make something happen if there is enough interest?

simota1 04-01-2013 06:50 AM

im down for that.... i asked my friend from daytona japan if they made frp... it was a negative though :(

on a side note why does it look weird to me when its painted?

GaleForce 04-01-2013 07:04 AM

FRP suits me fine. I would paint it to match the car anyways.

DriftKr6l 04-01-2013 07:33 AM

Depends on the price

Price/weight, yes.

SS_Firehawk 04-01-2013 03:02 PM

Favorite hood ever. Least Favorite price ever.

atulshrestha 04-01-2013 04:51 PM

i might sound stupid but ...ive always wanted to know what happens when it rains and it goes through the hood isnt it gonna mess up the engine or the wiring or any other parts?

simota1 04-01-2013 05:09 PM

They have rain channels on the jdm hoods..... The american cf hoods like seibon and vis im not to sure

UruZai 04-01-2013 05:25 PM

I would be interested, as long as the price is significantly reduced lol

Sales@F.I. Inc. 04-01-2013 05:56 PM

My favorite hood, so YES!

OMGWTFBBQ 04-02-2013 09:48 PM

Better question is... realistically speaking, knowing what you all know about Amuse (quality and craftsmanship with no equal, out of this world to be honest), how much would you guys (to those who are down) be willing to pay for this FRP hood? ;)

CF hoods are about $700, I want the price to be $1000, no more than $1500.

EVOR 04-02-2013 10:26 PM

Yea, the hood I post is from Japan. It is only 60000 Yen. Full carbon.

:iagree: but for me maybe $2000 max

omm370z 04-24-2013 10:41 AM

the amuse hood cost $ 6,400 and there is no comparasing with the FRP

CarbonSignal 04-25-2013 02:10 AM

how about hood vents similar to amuse one?

DarkJak 04-25-2013 02:23 AM

That'd be nice, but the vents look like they'd be hard to get the shape right with as an insert.

Wonka2581 04-25-2013 02:45 AM

I'd be down for a CF one..

CarbonSignal 05-02-2013 12:41 AM

Getting a Nismo in a week and might do for that guy plus a new Nismo lip & diffuser coming from CS :)

Ok here it is we posted on or FB page thought share here as well, in painting will have final shoot pictures in a week.

So after our previous version we will have these V2 vents for people to do it them selves or we can do it here as well as we did for few.

Let us know what you think

SS_Firehawk 07-08-2013 07:09 AM

wouldn't mind these stuck between my V2 fenders :)
I'll convince my Wife to like them lol

theDreamer 07-08-2013 07:44 AM

I am liking it, will wait for final shots to see.
Any idea on possibly pricing for the inserts?

rockinnewZ! 07-10-2013 08:04 AM

I would love one- but with Amuse taking 3 months to make-to-order this stuff is not only impractical, its unacceptable. As a mfgr you get paid to take risks by providing whiz-bang products...dont do that, take 3 months, get your money up-front, and someone will fill the gap more deserving of the business. jus sayin' I'm all ears CarbonSignal :)

It's the shipping times. They are in Dubai... Unless you plan on overnighting the parts on a plane and spending the thousands it costs, it's going on a boat. The prices for their stuff is fairly reasonable too. I'm not flaming, but just justifying the up to 3 month wait periods. Try waiting for parts from Japan... I'm sure Simota1 can tell you how long he waited for his hood and catch cans.
