Better question is... realistically speaking, knowing what you all know about Amuse (quality and craftsmanship with no equal, out of this world to be honest), how much would you guys (to those who are down) be willing to pay for this FRP hood? ;)

CF hoods are about $700, I want the price to be $1000, no more than $1500.

Yea, the hood I post is from Japan. It is only 60000 Yen. Full carbon.

the amuse hood cost $ 6,400 and there is no comparasing with the FRP

That'd be nice, but the vents look like they'd be hard to get the shape right with as an insert.

Getting a Nismo in a week and might do for that guy plus a new Nismo lip & diffuser coming from CS :)
