Been lookin' at this and it looks sweet ... My question is how hard is it to install and what tools are needed to do the job Thanks

Screw driver, drill

Jack the car up and everything is self explanatory, pre drilled holes guides you

I thought that I had read somewhere that double sided tape was all that was needed

I figured it had to be more to it

You'll want to use both the self-tapping screws and and double-sided tape. If I remember correctly, the lip sat maybe 1/16th of an inch away from the bumper...so in some spots, the double-sided tape didn't hold to the bumper.
