Could you explain the process for us? My understanding of carbon was that "dry carbon" is pre-preg which uses an autoclave to cure. Anything that isn't per-impregnated with resin is, technically, not "dry carbon."

I'm no expert but that is my understanding of it.

You are correct. The standard composites industry terminology defines "dry carbon" as pre-preg, since no resin is added during the manufacturing of components.

Lot's of companies like to throw around "dry carbon" just because they are not doing a wet lay-up. That's false advertising.
