I would like to sound deaden my hatch and have seen happy people with the quality of your product. I don't know if you're still doing the free samples but id like to see and understand the difference of the 80mil and the butyl. A quote on enough to do the hatch of both the 80mil and butyl please.
Also I noticed people saying something about double layering materials in general. Is it a huge difference or overkill? Thanks! |

80mil ultra is an asphalt based discount sound deadener. It has a higher temp tolerance than the leading discount brand and is engineered for a little to no asphalt smell. 70mil butyl is just like the big name brand. The butyl has no odor. You do not need to layer the product. However, for full sound deadening, you will need to complete the projected with closed cell foam and mass loaded vinyl.
