Finally got around to installing the 10sq ft. I still had rattles and I saw this so I figured I'd give it a try. As you can see I had a layer of dynamat before *tried the 30% coverage technique but found I still had rattles*
Forgot to snap a pic before I reassembled everything ![]() My rattles are barely audible now, using the stock screw down on the spare tire may or may not have made a difference...the free roller that was included was nice but I eventually broke the wheel off...guess I pressed too hard. The sound deadening material itself is a bit lighter than my dynamat but since its a discount alternative, I'd say its definitely great value, comparable quality as well. |
