Removing metal plate inside door

How hard is it to remove this gray piece of metal? I am assuming its just a plate which then gives you access to the window, but is there anything attached to it that would stop me from removing the plate without having to take everything out?

i tried once bro.... if i remember right even if you try taking out the bolts the motor for the window holds the plate in place..... i decided to just not mess with it....
