I believe he (jmlenz) is speaking of the same B pillar piece that you have highlighted I borrowed this pic from 2theextreme to illustrate The b pillar piece is fixed

I believe he (jmlenz) is speaking of the same B pillar piece that you have highlighted
I borrowed this pic from 2theextreme to illustrate  The b pillar piece is fixed to the vehicle and is not part of the door assembly.
