Easiest way to figure it out is to check the tire pressure... If it is around 35lbs give or take then it is generally a broken sensor. I had one break in my Mazda due to a pothole... now whenever I drive for a while (more than 25-30 miles) the light flashes meaning it isn't getting an appropriate signal.
