New 370z Widebody in the process!

3 Attachment(s)
So as many of you know my car has been going from shop to shop getting mods. Well the Guys over at DTM Autobody have been doing a stand up job with my car. They initially did the modifications for my front fenders and are now trying to finish up the rear of my 370z. We hope to have the car finished ASAP so that the car can be finished overall!

I will be uploading more pictures as I get them. We had decided to go 3" wider on either side in the back for a total of 6" in the rear. This will allow us to run any tire wheel setup you could ever want or desire!!!

Pics of the front fenders:

bullitt5897 02-03-2012 09:56 AM

thats why I take 2 hehe

phelan 02-03-2012 09:57 AM

mike remind me what tire size you run in the rear? that thing is humongous.

bullitt5897 02-03-2012 10:00 AM

thats a tiny 315... I was trying to find bigger but nobody had anything in stock :(

ClemsonWill 02-03-2012 10:06 AM

That back tire is making me drool. I may have to give those advans a try next time. When is everything supposed to be all finished up?

Erik@RTTuning 02-03-2012 10:19 AM

Pretty wild. I look forward to seeing it finished up.

bullitt5897 02-03-2012 10:30 AM

We are hoping to have it all finished in two weeks. it looks like maybe sooner. since the sideskirts and rear bumper have been getting modified for a week or so already.

anthonyy 02-03-2012 10:57 AM

holy fenders

I would put 20x15s in there :stirthepot:

bullitt5897 02-03-2012 11:21 AM

lol I currently have 20 x 12's no need to go much bigger if at all...

jetguy 02-03-2012 11:39 AM

i heard that the 2012 Chicago auto show Z will look exactly like this...stock. :icon23:

just kidding. your Z is so sick! cant wait to see it finished!!!:driving:

370Z JT 02-03-2012 11:41 AM

Wow!

jetguy 02-03-2012 11:41 AM

also; know what would look super hot? if the fender went out to a super thin edge at the outer most edge. like an s2000's front fender.

Perf.Des 02-03-2012 12:00 PM

elmz 02-03-2012 12:05 PM

Looks good! I can't wait to see it when its all finished.

W.O.W. 370Z 02-03-2012 12:06 PM

Sticking with 20x12?

Any particular reason?

With what is available in R-compounds it does not make sense to go any wider at this point.

Mike

I could have molds taken and make this available to the public but the issue is would you guys really fork out the money for it? I mean we would be talking about cutting ur fenders and a high cost. Ur looking at 5-7k kit easy. How many of you would be willing to bone up 5-7k for a widebody?

I forbid you to mod. The smurf has been raped enough. It's time to let the ol' girl go into retirement. Or get her 'reconstructive surgery' and that 'port' is ready for another 100k miles... :ugh2: :bowrofl:

O&G 02-03-2012 01:56 PM

I've been seeing this car on FB a lot, I guess I have a friend who works there @ DTM Autobody, looking good can't wait for the finished product.

Mike, has there been any talk of taking your awesome wheels off the car and say putting some stockers, or cheap rollers on it so that they don't potentially get scratched during all these builds?
