Pearl Black / Hyper Black Door Handles?

I plan on switching my emblems from the chrome finish to the factory nissan "pearl black" emblems like this.

When doing this conversion I would like for the door handles to be painted to match. Does anyone know of a method to paint the door handles this pearl black or hyper black as it is often called?

Best bet would be to first remove the door handles:
DIY-Door handle removal

then go from there...

That is the starting point but I am more interested in paint type, or paint code that can produce that type of look on the material the door handles are made from. Not sure if there are any rattle cans that can produce that look or if I need to have a paint code and take them to a body shop or what.

Thats my picture... : ) and nissan doesnt have a factory pearl black emblems set. I had the emblems done at a local shop using new OEM emblems.

and to answer your question about door handles yes..

I had a full set done for Nismo221 here on the boards.

he has the Front/Rear Nissan emblem
370z emblem NISMO emblem
Side markers
and door handles all done in the same color/shade

You can find some shots of his car as part of the z nationals 2011 albums if you wanted to see. I cant find em atm, at work and cant spend too much time on here.

I'm not so sure that Nissan doesn't offer these. I purchased my black pearl emblems from Courtesy Nissan.

The one's from Courtesy Nissan are the ones that I will be using. I assumed the picture I used was those not custom. It might end up being harder to have the handles mathced to the Courtesy emblems then having all of the peices done together. The problem is that I already made the purchase from Courtesy.

I wouldn't sweat it. I'm sure a reputable body shop will be able to match the handles to your new emblems. No problem.

On a slightly different note, I am surprised nobody is offering black pearl handles. We're certainly not the first people who want this.

I didn't that pic was taken from the Web. I have not gotten my emblems in yet from Courtesy Nissan as they were back ordered. They finally shipped so should be here by the end of the week. I did not switch to the fairlady emblem. Earlier in the thread the owner of the pic that I posted mentioned that they were his so you can probably PM him to find out about it.
