I doubt it's clutch related at all. If you are accelerating smoothly when this is happening and the tach is literally sticking at one RPM while you continue to accelerate

I doubt it's clutch related at all.
If you are accelerating smoothly when this is happening and the tach is literally sticking at one RPM while you continue to accelerate it's more than likely some electrical issue.
