Front fog lights

That looks pretty stealth and almost oem. Big fog lights belong on rally cars IMO.

Default Oem?

They are pretty close to what the factory would develop, I had to use ABS plastic to fill in the gaps but the plastic pannel unbolts from the inside. PIAA didn't have anything that would fit this application, I have a set of their driving lights on my other car, they were expensive, but good quality. I had used French CIBIE's on a previous car with great success also

You'll find a 2009 thread here on Bosch Compact 100s ... if you go out to Google and type in those words, you'll come back in to a 370Z gallery that shows a 2004 Acura TSX we had "treated".

Unfortunately though, the snout of a Z car is all crushable plastic as per European pedestrian standards. There is literally no place to have a solid attachment unless you fabricate an internal support cage off the radiator mount, etc. So good fogs or drivers are probably out of the picture unless you're doing major front-end changes anyways.

Incidentally, if you can figure out the mount, it's the easiest thing in the world to hook up a light array with Hella relays. Most sets will be 55-watt (not 35 like your HIDs). Even PIAAs are better than OEM fogs, but I prefer Bosch. (I also have a set of soda-glass Cibies waiting for my next monster SUV. )

My last 3 cars, 2006 Charger R/T, 2008 CTS and 2009 Mazda 6 all had foglights. The CTS and the 370 really don't need them because of the efficiency of the head lamps. With the others they definitely helped fill in the dark areas on the ground just in front of the hood line. If you do get fogs, try and match the bulb's color temperature with the headlamps. IMO, for appearance, yellowish fogs with white head lamps just don't look right. For practicality, lower color temperature is probably better in fog. Also keep in mind, more power = more load.

Thanks....
In your case it is definitely function over form.. I've heard the stories and have family that live in Alaska.. Not to mention living in mostly darkness for months at a time. I think for most people its not something that is needed, its more for show but in your case I'll agree.. Z Vs 1000lb animal.. Better to avoid that at all costs..

Does anyone know what size this units are? Been trying to get in contact with the owner to no avail. Thanks for any help you can lend!
