Front fog lights

Sitting here with my laptop looking out at around -10F. Gunmetal gray Z is safely parked in garage. Have a few things I'm wanting to do over the next few months to it. First, is finish with the sound deadening by pulling door panels off. Second, is to see if anyone knows about putting fog lights on the front of these cars.
Haven't seen anything on this, but know how nice it would be to have this additional lighting option....
Appreciate whatever you can offer.
Pat

You can only fit a pretty small one in the slot next to the fangs. Seen a pic of Z with those and they look terrible IMO.

not that i am suggesting this bumper, but you can use it as a reference to what the Z will look like with fog lights.

Please don't put foglights on a Z, leave that fad in 1997 where it belongs.

So I take this as not be applicable and certainly not up to other member's expectations? Sorry folks, but would like to have as much lighting on the front of mine as possible. Ever had a 1 ton moose walk out in front of you? Fogs do a much better job of lighting up the outside corners.....
Thanks....

Don't put foglights on our Zs? Kidding me? This looks yummy! Mid Night International? I can't seem to find any details on this company.

I really don't get why fog lights are so hated. It's just a matter of installing in the right spot and a type that doesn't look like you got it at Autozone. It need to look OEM.

The Nissan DRL's don't look too bad. I kind of like them actually, just a bit pricey.

That's actually made by abflug, the kit's called vanguard...
Maybe midnight international could have been a shop who installed the kit.

It's hard to place a pair fogs on the 370z's front end and make it still look amazing imo.

its not that fog lights are hated, its the way the bumper is designed, i personally think that fog lights only look good if they flow well with the headlights.. and day time running lights =/= fog lights

now..

this is probably the best spot for a fog light and as you can see, only a tiny fog light can fit in it unless you have them custom made/fitted

now imagine the output of the headlights and the fog lights, the fog lights will be two tiny dots at night and i will not help on looks nor enhance the brightness output by a lot. IMHO

Fog lights are kinda silly with HIDs now... most people won't need more than the light they can produce. I think every one of my pre 2006 cars I have owned came with fogs (or the option for) but manufacturers are dropping it since they are sort of unnecessary I guess.

My thoughts exactly, my lights are plenty bright but OP lives in Alaska so he might have a different situation.

Maybe a small pair of driving lights would be better? It's a narrower beam, but it would definitely reach out further than the fogs which is what it sounds like you want. You could have them angled in such a way that they light up the corners, yet with them being so low it wouldn't blind oncoming traffic.
