There may be an option for that fender down the road . However, this would mean that we would need to also creat a new set of sideskirts as well. The whole idea behind this bumper is to increase the aerodynamics of the car, add more downforce and to allow more wheel tire options. While still being able to use any bodykit you want to run. If you want stock sideskirts you can do that. If you want Nismo, Zele, Amuse, UAM sideskirts they will all fit with the fender. With the Amuse Superleggera fender you have to run its specific side skirts... On another note we will be working on a rear wide fender in the near future that should be a direct bolt on as well.

Releasing pressure from the front fenders doesn't increase downforce, it reduces lift if we're going to get technical. This could go off into a huge aerodynamic tangent that nobody probably really cares about but you definitely want some sort of gate or "guide" to channel air down the side of your car. Not to mention a gate will hide the hideously chipped paint that will inevitably happen on the cut-in area from being pelted with stuff that the tire picks up. Plus it will look better IMO.

I take it that you have to completely remove your fender liners for these as well? Or can they be modified to work?

^ THAT'S why I was getting confused, I just couldn't figure out why so late in the evening. Thanks Mike

To be honest I'd love to learn more about vehicle aerodynamics but I don't think this is the proper place to ask. I should start looking for coursework.

Thanks mike your completely right it is reduction of lift. This will require the removal of the fender liner because it is a full inch wider or you can try to stretch the top of the liner and cut the rear to fit. I will work on a channel guide for a cover as well

Also I would reccommend a clear 3M bra for the fender to eliminate the risk of rock chips

First, I have to ask... There are people who think our pudgy cars need to be wider?

Also, clearbra does not eliminate that risk entirely. It merely diminishes the effect of small rocks. You get a big enough rock in there, you'll have a chip through the clear that will require you to remove the CB to fix. It's expensive. Trust me. I've done it.

Clear bra is a good simple solution!

Eliminate is too strong of a word, but for typical driving conditions, clear bra does just fine. It's when you run into the random OMGWTF rock flying at your car, or debris from an accident that gets it to chip through the CB

would look better if it had a "canard" piece or something to continue the line, but still open.
