There is some new thought that you should not dip and peel, dip and peel. Instead, dip you layers on and the last layer go a little heavier and then peel as soon as you are done applying over the tape. When PD is applied to PD the lower layers reliquify giving you a cleaner line when you peel. I haven't tried it but the dipyourcar forum boys swear by it.
Now for some awesomeness. This weekend I will be blowing the top off of the PlastiDip world when I dip my Z like my lil test ride here.  IMG_0281 by DufDaddy17, on Flickr It is actually a black base with a pigment called Interferene Violet in the glossifier. The pigment reflect violet in direct light otherwise the car looks black.
