LOL- Did you wash the wheels before you sprayed them?

Sometimes if you wash them, water gets into the lug holes and then gets trapped under the dip.

I always have to wipe the wheels off with a towel first and make sure they are 100% dry.

Looks like there was some cleaning solution or water that got trapped under.

A way to fix this is get a small needle or thumbtack & pop the hole. Then do a respray over that spot. Pretty easy!

Oh yes probably it wasn't dry enough :/ but luckily it was only one wheel and I will try to do that quick fix..hopefully it won't look weird and still match the rest of the wheel. I love the new look thou

I went to the track and ran many sessions and the plasti dip didn't come off the rims. I was surprised. I just saw on their web page that plasti dip is proven to hold up to 310 Farenheith or something like that. Anyways if someone is wondering. It will hold up at the track.

Thanks for those pics Kristina. I have been thinking about doing the same to my 2011 just have not had time to do it yet. Not 100% sure I will like it on my car but its plastidip so can remove it quickly.

Are you going to be doing the mirrors too besides the top of the spolier? I know that the 2014 has that area a different color as well. I'm interested in seeing how this all turns out because I have the same exact 2013 GM Nismo and was considering doing this to all the areas that are a different color like the 2014 for a different look. Originally I was even considering wrapping those areas but before I spent all that money I was looking to plasti dip them first.

Also on the wheels where it says NISMO, I want to plasti dip the NISM in black and the O in red. It could look nice against our wheels. Otherwise I'll just remove it if it doesn't.

Once you complete your Nismo please post some more photos. I would love to see the final results. Great job!

Definitely the original BLACK plastidip. No specific color.
Wheels look like a gunmetal or their anthracite color that they just launched, however I think its just the glare of the sunlight
I don't see many red ones on the road, but I have seen them in my area.
