Damn, forgot to take pics of emblems. I'll try to remember tomorrow. It started to rain before the plasti dip on the handles was fully dried so they started peeling.

I had no problem with dipyourcar.com. I would definitely order from them again. If anyone orders a custom color (non aerosol) I would get a few more of spray cartridges.

The kit comes with three but I went heavy on my coats and had to buy another.

Also had a good experience with dipyourcar.com, just having a little issue with a shipping refund they owe me. I forgot to order everything I needed at first so immediately placed a second order and asked them to combine the two orders and ship them together. They said they would refund me the difference in shipping cost and I have yet to get a refund or hear from them about it.

Default Now I'm Addicted!

Ok, so I have been reading with fourm and decided that I would try and do some work with Plasti-Dip myself....I AM IN LOVE!!!

I have a couple of places, I might re-tape and spray some more to get rid of a little imperfections but, really unless you are looking you can't see it.

It is so addicting man! It's worse if you start using the plasti dip enhancers. Then it's not just what else can you plasti dip, but how to do it. So many customization possibilities to choose from

Wait till next week guys. I have the Shine Auto kit coming in this week and I'm going to plasti dip the hole thing. As you may know I track my a car a lot know and the front fangs have been plasti dipped. So while the front clip (OEM paint) still gets sand blasted from the track debri the plastic dipped section is holding up great. So what better and cheap way to maintain my kit from debri.

For sure. I did at least 4 coats on the fangs on my previous bumper. No knicks in it until I hit a deer. And all the deer did was put the smallest knick in it w its hoof. Should def hold up on the track.

Question how do you guys stop the dip from sticking to the paint tape. When I pulled the tape some bits of the dip came with it. I figure Ill just redo the little area but I wanna make sure it won't happen again.

I left an inch gap with the tape around what I was spraying. Don't put the tape right on the intended target.

I have the same issue, and i'm scared to get an Exacto anywhere near the clear coat.

As promised, here are the pics of my plastidipped emblems. I will probably have to redo the 370Z badge because I started peeling it off before it was completely dried so it didn't come off so cleanly.
