Hey guys:
I did mine with different color. I know it may look a bit weird. But I just want to match with the interior color. Doing the door handle paint next with other product :tiphat: here is some snap shot I took after the job is done. Not the best. I think it will not hurt if I peel it off :hello: http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/5521/emblemw.jpg http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/9651/emblem2kd.jpg |

Or, you could exacto the Nissan portion off and let the silver through. I think the black would be a better option though. |
JuSt did the emblems on my brilliant silver z and it turned out awesome!!!

Did my door handles. Will let you all know if there are any problems with it. So far so good other than feeling weird to the touch...

Haha...thanks. I wonder which side.

You sure are brave, I'd never do this with the emblems STILL on the car.

We need to get a list of stuff that we can spray. I'm about to go to TOWN on my car. LOL
|
Did you just spray over the key hole on the door? I know we never use it but I was just curious?

For Synack. It's a little dusty from a windy night last night (yes my car has to sleep outside until I can sell some of the big stuff taking up my side of the garage). http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...dip_handle.jpg And now here's the rest of the stuff I plasti-dipped today. Did the Z emblems and peeled off the area covering the light portion just leaving the Z and outer ring black... http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p..._emblems_3.jpg And did the front fangs which turned out ok. Up close the edges didn't do so well and it looks like a poor masking job but it turned out good enough for now. I will eventually switch to a better solution. http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ip_fangs_1.jpg And the whole package... http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ip_fangs_2.jpg |

Has anyone tried using this on anything under the hood? I'm thinking about like doing the P/S reservoir and coolant overflow tank with this.

Ahhh yea son, why not, I can just take it off! Stuff is awesome :) |
Can the aerosol be ordered in yellow?
|
Many people use it on their wheels. They hold up very well.
|
Will it hold up if used on engine parts? or does one need high temp paint for that

people in NYC have gone plasti dip crazy, every car is plasti dipped here... it looks horrible to me personally. like you can tell it looks like black rubber, not real professionally done matte black.
